Easter Pics- Better Late Than Never?

I finally got my camera back! I am so excited. Funny story, when my camera broke I went to pull out my old point and shoot but I couldn’t find it. The day I got my lens back from repairs I found my other camera. Ha! Guess we were destined to record the last several months in cell phone pics… What did we do before smart phones? Good news is the repairs were totally covered under the warranty and I got lots of practice using my super zoom lens. At Easter I was joking with everyone that they had to stand far away if they wanted their pictures!

Here are a few of the shots I got of my awesome family at Easter. We spent the day at my (step)dads with his fiance Julie and her mom as well as my siblings. It was so fun. I’ll have to add an album onto facebook because there are way too many good pics to share.

Happy Easter

Pretty Eggs

So I stayed up until 3 am last night working on the hats I’m making for the kids to wear on Easter. So far I’m done with….one. Yikes! I have a feeling tonight will be another late one. So far, so good though! It went pretty smoothly with only a couple minor setbacks. I’ll post some pictures tomorrow because right now, I’m too lazy to go get my camera.

The kids and I followed a tutorial from The Artful Parent to decorate our eggs this year. It was so simple and fun too. About ten seconds in I had a tie dyed kitchen floor and shoes (white canvas ones) but we didn’t let it phase us.

Don’t forget about this post with many fabulous egg decorating ideas!

Tie Is Done!

I have a crazy busy weekend, but just wanted to show you that I finished Axel’s tie. Axel loves it and so do I!  I’m sure I will be making more.

Happy Weekend!

Miracle’s Easter Dress

I finished Miracle’s dress yesterday, and it turned out pretty good too. It is a little different style than Evangeline’s, and I messed up on it a little more (I’m just not going to tell how/where.). She absolutely loves it though. When she tried it on for the first time I asked her if she liked it and she jumped on me, grabbed my neck and yelled, “I love it!” I have decided that for the  next few clothing items I do I will buy patterns. It maybe wasn’t such a great idea to try and come up with my own on my first try!

And thank you so much for the great response I received through here and on Facebook from yesterday’s post about my new notepad/journal holder. I received two more custom orders and am so excited!

Busy, Busy, Busy!! <3
