Dazzling Duo

DazzlingDuo began as a way for two friends to retain their sanity under the onslaught of the energy of their little boys.  Sitting and stamping led to many cards and other paper goods that couldn’t be given away fast enough. After several people suggested selling we thought “Why not?”; at least we could fund our habit.

We love to make cards for any and all occasions.  We have done wedding invitations, bridal showers, baby announcements, christmas cards and quincenara invitations for family as well as birthday, thank yous and all occasion cards.  Our shop on etsy (dazzlingduo.etsy.com) has a variety of cards and we would be happy to make a custom card (or set!) just for you.

We have a set of 4 cards to send to the winner worth $12.  Sorry I have not got a picture of the set right now.  We are including a thank you card from the red set in the attached picture.

Jo Bead

JoBead began in late 2007.  I attended a conference that featured Wellspring International.  I was so touched by what they were (and are!) doing that I began thinking about a way that I could help out the organization on an ongoing basis.  Rewind back to 2006 when my sister-in-law asked me to bead her wedding dress.  Over 3,000 Swarovski crystals later, she asked me to make wedding jewelry.  I hopped on the internet and taught myself the basics.  Wellspring and jewelry merged for me as a way to help fund them and also to help myself.  I am a well-trained bargain hunter (thanks, Mom!) that needs to be creative.  I don’t, however, “need” the money.  After traveling extensively around the world, I’ve seen those in true “need” – the very same people that Wellspring International is helping.  JoBead is a way for me to be creative, to give to those in need and for my clients to get a bargain!

What began with a simple request has now become a small business.  I have my own site,http://www.jobead.com, with a catalog of customizable jewelry.  The one of a kind or very limited edition pieces are listed on my Etsy site: http://www.jobead.etsy.com, with more pieces being listed daily.  I can be found in a few bridal shops in the Milwaukee area and do custom work out of my home office.   I am absolutely thrilled to be able to help Wellspring in this way.  100% of the proceeds for JoBead go directly to Wellspring and 100% of the donations they receive are used to directly fund projects.  To see more of the wonderful work they are doing, please see:http://www.wellspringinternational.org.

Greencard Designs

Greetings!  My name is Katherine Kelly and I’m the style and sense of humor behind Greencard Designs by Katherine Kelly.  I started designing custom made invitations and paper goods for my wedding; and since then, friends and family coaxed me into turning it into a “professional” hobby.

My style is best described as clever, contemporary, and “clean”.  I love bold colors, great patterns, very clean and modern designs, with a little vintage influence.  I really enjoy using my sense of humor.  I’m of Irish decent (hence greencard), which is where I believe I get my sense of wit and “cheek”.  I love creating cards and invitations for myself and clients that incorporate great design and clever wording which add to the overall impression of the greeting.  My “signature” greetings are those with lined envelopes, and cards which have been hand stamped and embossed to create great dimension and texture.

I work at home in Chicago, IL, with the unconditional support and love of my husband.  We live in a little condo with a big deck which I’m afraid my stock of paper and cards may force me to move my desk outside some day!

Craftyforyou

My name is Christine  I was born and raised in England and learned to knit at an early age from my Mother and Grandmother. When I first came over here I really missed the lovely yarn shops we had in England. I am so glad that knitting is again in style and we have so many lovely yarns available especially from etsy sellers.

I started my business knitting hats and scarves but then after knitting and designing dog sweaters for my two Chihuahua Grand dogs and my adopted Jack Russell/chi Jake I decided to make doggie sweaters to sell.

The largest sweater I made was for a Great Dane the smallest a Chihuahua puppy the strangest request I had was for a baby alligator no I did not make it a sweater. I cater to the cats as well I make snuggle pouch/beds
